i did it again yesterday..

i wanted a scarf, and found a scarf/hat/glove set at a store on vermont. it was a cute scarf and the set was only 5 bucks so i bought it.  walking back down vermont  to the train station a homeless lady asked me for money.  i told her i didnt have money for her, but would she like a hat and some gloves? she gladly took them and i love the scarf :))

are we ready for walking whales?

i just was thinking about my primordial soup/ooze post and about the whole evolution/crawling out of the swamp thing and was wondering about whales who beach themselves.  maybe theyre just trying to walk.  maybe sometime in the next hundred thousand years or so there will be walking whales and porpoises.  i mean they already breath oxygen, right???

great performances

im watching stephen sondheims birthday concert on great performances.  i snapped this pic earlier today on the way to ralphs.  great performances are a 1000 feet from my front door...and im glad elaine stritch is still here

bases covered..

hobart at hollywood blvd.  im assuming its the chatuchak store?  thai food, computer, fresh fruit, insurance and a dress maker.  what an odd mix of things in one store...

olympus pic test

i bought an XD card reader off ebay for $1. it arrived from hong kong yesterday. it was the missing component to me not being able to use the olympus camera cuz i couldnt get the pics into the computer w/o the card reader.  it appears to be $1 well spent.  XD card readers at staples or office depot run about $25.

i also predict

that assange dies in a car accident soon...brakes go out...

checkmate..

wikileaks founder julian assange has just released another barrage of classified documents BUT this time they have been secretly "encrypted". i mean he's kindof a weasel, but thats a smart move.  its his ticket out of his legal trouble.  drop the charges and i dont release the code. it's genius.
